About Peryla

Last updated August 2026.

Why this exists

Perimenopause is under-taught and under-diagnosed. Many clinicians received little training in it, and a lot of what women find online is either dated or trying to sell something. Peryla is a plain, evidence-first place to figure out what is happening and how to talk to a doctor about it. We built the quiz and the symptom library we wished existed.

How we research and source

Every page starts from primary sources: regulator announcements, professional society guidance, and peer-reviewed studies. We cite them, with dates, at the foot of each page so you can check our work. When the evidence is thin or mixed, we say so rather than papering over it. When guidance changes, as the FDA hormone-therapy labels did in 2025 and 2026, we update the page and change the date.

Medical-review disclaimer

Peryla is educational. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for talking to a qualified clinician who knows your history. The quiz gives you a signal, not a diagnosis. Always seek professional advice for your own health, and see a doctor promptly for any of the red-flag symptoms we list on the results page.

Who publishes it

Peryla is an Agniverse product, founded by An Nayal. We are independent: we do not take money to place a product or a clinic above another. Where we mention products or services, we will disclose any affiliate relationship clearly on the page.
